I have been lucky enough to take part in a number of sports at different levels. Playing, and later coaching, both field hockey and athletics to county standards.
On two wheels have raced competitively in duathlons and road racing, but whilst I still love cycling, do it mainly to keep up with clients who out run me!
I qualified with a degree in Sport and Exercise sciences in 1997 and continued with a PGCE in Teaching Secondary Physical Education, specialising in Hockey, Athletics and Lacrosse along with A Level and GCSE, Physiology and Biomechanics.
Having taught PE for several years I then went on to develop my vocational qualifications in sport and fitness, leading to my Level 3 Personal Trainer Award and Phase IV Cardiac Rehabilitation (Level 4).
